Happy Thanksgiving

Hello my dear friends,
It feels so good to finally being able to sit here in my little desk and have a second of peace and quiet to write and to say hello!

I know I have being gone for way too long, lots of things have happened in my life, that unfortunately  kept me from having any time to myself!

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving and I didn't want to miss the opportunity to reach out and to say thank you so much to all of you from the bottom of my heart!

I love creating and decorating, my wheels are always spinning, so  I am thankful to have my little Blog to record it all and keep track of all my projects. I am also very thankful to have you there in the other side of the screen, reading my Blog and always being so sweet to me!

The fall is one of my favorite times of the year, specially here in New England. The change of colors is spectacular, therefore is one of my favorite decorating seasons as well.

The day after Thanksgiving is when I start my Christmas decorations. I know Christmas is being all over Blogland for a while, but I love to enjoy one holiday at a time. As I tell my little kids, we don't HO HO HO until we Gobble Gobble.

I am not a Black Friday shopper, who wants to deal with all the craziness out there!! I much rather stay in my cozy home and start putting all my Christmas tress up!! Besides, there is nothing out there worth enough to get me out of bed in the middle of the night!!!
Do you like to go shopping on Black Friday?

This year I am super excited to start my Christmas decor, I have a lot of ideas in mind, so I've being holding on the horses for a while!!

Before all my fall decor comes down on Friday, I want to take a few seconds to show you  around!

The dining room is ready to entertain and celebrate Family and friends!
I bought a simple wood board at Home Depot,  and cut it to feet my table to create a center piece. Then I bang the heck out of it with a hammer to create age and texture and then I stained it!
Added some faux branches from Michael's, some nuts and leaves from the yard, and mixed in between some birds, turkeys and pumpkins and voila, there you have it!

Some bittersweet branches from the yard around the chandelier to give it a fall feel!

On the kitchen table I like to display my European dough bowl. I change the contents depending of the season. This time its filled with pumpkins and moss balls!

Now, don't make fun of my turkey back there on the chalk board!! My drawing skills haven't improve  since Kindergarten!! 😂

And finally my mantle dresses up for the fall, with pumpkins, antlers and feathers!

Thanks so much for stopping by, have a blessed Thanksgiving!
